Letterpress Printing
Letterpress printing uses a raised and inked printing plate to transfer a design onto paper. It’s distinguishing characteristic is a deep impression or bite into the paper.
Foil Stamping
Foil stamping uses a heated copper die and a sheet of foil to transfer the design on to the paper. It features an impression like letterpress printing but with a metallic sheen.
Die Cutting
Paper can be cut into unique shapes with die cutting. The die is a sharp blade that gets locked into the press and cuts each sheet like a cookie-cutter with each impression.
Digital Printing
If your project features four color illustrations or photography, digital printing is the way to go. Combine digital with letterpress printing for an impactful piece.
