Our Story
Elefant Press was started in 2010 by Fernando Gonzalez. He had a love of the vintage machinery and materials used in the letterpress process and enjoyed the craftsmanship of making a digital designs into something tactile.
The name Elefant, spelled in-between Spanish and English, comes from a fond memory of his Cuban grandmother’s Elephant figurine collection as a child.
Our Passion
Elefant Press started from a passion of printing and collecting wood and metal moveable type. We still have our wonderful collection of type to play with but have since grown to provide a wide array of other printing services.
